I have been a chef for over 12 years. I got my start at 16 when a close friend got me a job at the Diamond Club, a VIP restaurant in the Texas Rangers’ stadium. That’s where I learned that I wasn’t just curious about food, I had a passion for it. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure to work for Dean Fearing at the Ritz-Carlton & Stephan Pyles when he had Restaurant AmaLur at the Gaylord Texan. Both these chefs inspired me to focus on Southwestern Cuisine and now own my own catering business.

My culinary career started primarily because I had a mother that couldn’t cook! Most of what I learned about food initially came from grandparents who were both in the culinary industry. They’re one of the major reasons people fall in love with our food. It tastes like it comes from the heart and is always beautifully presented. My mother takes most of the credit, as she often mentions that if it weren’t for her inability to cook, where would I be!
Andrew’s first professional experience with food was the dish pit in his parent’s restaurants on the famous Tourak Road in Melbourne Australia. Andrew first enrolled in William Engliss Culinary School where he completed a 4 year degree program and apprenticeship. He catered through Melbourne and Europe but eventually found his way to the states and continued his culinary education at CIA (Hyde Park, New York) then Andrew found his way to Chicago where he continued to work in the culinary field as well as teach at Kendall Culinary School. In 2007 Andrew and his wife Lisa found their way to Texas and opened Tastefully Yours Catering so that Andrew could share his worldly experiences with the friendly people of North Texas. It has been a wonderful 10 years!!
