Marian Timmer, owner and principal planner and event stylist at Minted Artistry, loves working with couples on a personal level to create an unforgettable and personal wedding that goes above and beyond their expectations. After growing up in Kansas City Missouri, Yvette moved to Dallas to study advertising at Southern Methodist University where she was involved with planning events as a member of Chi Omega. Following SMU, Yvette worked for the famed Pappas Restaurants and became the General Manager of Pappas Catering. Under her leadership Pappas Catering grew and became an award-winning operation locally, and internationally.
As Pappas grew, Yvette’s own leadership, career, and commitment to the special events industry blossomed as well. She served as a board member for the DFW Chapter of National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) from 2004 to 2007. She also was elected the International Live Event Association (ISES) Dallas Board on which she served for 6 years and eventually as President. She then went on to serve on international committees for the organization.
After more than 15 years of success in the special event industry, Yvette decided to use her skills, education, and creativity to benefit clients by launching Premier Special Events in 2009, which has since become Simply Mox. Yvette prides herself on providing a boutique style experience based on uber personalized service and taking the time to really know her clients. As she learns what makes them special and unique, she is able to plan and produce celebrations that represent them, and only them. She believes the event experience should celebrate both the milestones and the people reaching them.
As the owner and proprietor of Fort Worth’s premier event design company, Tami is passionate about all things wedding related and is dedicated to creating exceptional events that reflect the personal style of the bride and groom while surpassing industry standards. Boasting 20+ years of experience, Tami specializes in much more than breathtaking bouquets and inspiring arrangements. Tami’s expertise ranges from proper etiquette to precise timing to perfect planning. She assists brides from conception to completion in the design process by selecting colors, linens, lighting, invitations and more, all while attending vendor meetings, researching vendors, and staying within budget. However, it is her innovative imagination and signature flair that renders her services matchless. To-die-for tablescapes and luxurious style ensure each event is nothing short of fabulous for every bride.
Thanks to her rare combination of creative energy and organizational skills, Jamie has been a pillar at Tami Winn Events for 10 years. She began her career in wedding planning in 2005 after graduating from Baylor University and became a Certified Wedding Planner shortly after. Her sweet disposition instantly puts brides at ease, which is only furthered by her detailed nature and persistent tenacity. Like Tami, Jamie is known to get things done on time and within budget by employing a coveted network of industry experts. From vision to fruition, an event overseen by Jamie is sure to receive seamless execution and sincere attention to even the smallest of details, which every bride most certainly deserves and appreciates.
Beth Murray and Kimberley Vines have over 20 years in the event and wedding industry.
Kimberley began her career in corporate marketing and then corporate planning. She eventually transitioned into wedding planning and has designed countless beautiful weddings in Wichita Falls, DFW, and Pittsburgh.
Beth started out in theatre: acting, in stage design, stage management and directing in Santa Fe and London. Upon returning to the States, she used her skills in the hospitality industry working for the Pointe Hilton Resort on South Mountain in Phoenix. Venturing out on her own, Beth planned fundraisers, corporate events, and even a multi-day 35,000 person event.
Working together on a major fundraiser a few years ago, Beth and Kimberley decided to merge talents and form Two Girls in Pearls Events, a custom wedding and event planning company. Together they have planned weddings all over DFW, Boston, and France. They are members of The Professional Wedding Guild of Fort Worth and The Society of Wedding Professionals in Dallas.
