Keller Wedding Venue
You’re engaged! Congratulations to the happy couple. This means that it is almost time for you to get married. Before you can get married, you’re most likely going to have a few months of wedding planning beforehand. What’s first on the planning agenda? Finding the perfect venue for you and your brand new fiancé. Before you come to tour our Keller wedding venue and any others that you have on your list, we wanted to give you some tips on what you should expect at your wedding venue tours. Keep reading to find out what you should have prepared, what you should expect to see, and what you will probably feel when walking through potential venues.
Expect to ask lots of questions! Bring a whole list of questions, even if you will like some of them aren’t too important. A wedding venue is an investment and we want you to know everything that you possibly can before signing any agreement. If you need some help with what to ask, we have another post that lets you know what we think some of the most important questions are! Check it out, here.
When you are asking your questions, be prepared to hear all of the details of the venue and take notes of them! Odds are, you’ll forget a detail or two about each venue that you tour and sometimes that detail can be an important one. Taking notes of what your tour guide is saying will help you to remember each venue, even down to the most minute details.
On top of notes, take plenty of pictures! Taking pictures will help you to distinctly remember which venue is which in your hunt for the perfect wedding venue. On top of that, you can show your friends pictures of each venue for their take on it, as well! Pictures are great for your family, as well. If your parents are paying for your wedding, they might want to see the potentials that you’re looking at and want to add a little bit of their own input.
Going into your wedding tours, try to know approximate details, like your overall budget and guest counts! This will help to narrow down your search. If you plan on having a 300 person wedding, you don’t want to book a venue that only holds 150! You should also know a date or time frame that you would like for your wedding. If you want a specific date, think about having a backup date, as well. Knowing these going into venue tours helps you to be realistic in your search and not get bogged down with too many venues to choose from. Every venue just wants you to have your dream wedding and knowing these details beforehand will help them and us to point you in the right direction!
Lastly, be ready to feel all of the emotions while you’re looking for the perfect venue. You will be so excited and maybe a little overwhelmed. Looking for a wedding venue is just the next step before your marriage! This is an exciting time and you’ll feel that as you’re looking for venues and talking through potentials with your partner. You might also feel a little overwhelmed since it is a big commitment and big step and that is totally normal and okay!
We are here for you in your search and would love to be the venue that you choose for your big day! Contact us today to schedule a tour that you’ll fall in love with. We can’t wait to answer all of your questions.
